Friends of Sacred Heart Major Seminary will gather once again to celebrate and give thanks for the many blessings of the seminary. We are pleased to host the thirteenth annual dinner, Archbishop's Gala 2010, at The Ritz-Carlton in Dearborn, on Wednesday, June 9. The theme for this year's Gala is "I Will Give You Shepherds."

Show your support for Sacred Heart by participating in this wonderful event. You can sponsor a table, advertise your business, or purchase a dinner ticket to join us at the celebration. You and your guests will be treated to a culinary experience like no other; The Ritz-Carlton offers fine dining that will inspire even the most discerning palates.

The Archbishop's Gala provides you a wonderful opportunity to meet with other Catholics to celebrate the mission and accomplishments of the seminary. Among our many blessings, we are pleased to announce that currently 100 seminarians are preparing for the priesthood at Sacred Heart. This is the largest number in almost four decades.

Your support of the Archbishop's Gala will help to ensure that together we can prepare these future priests, and their co-workers—deacons and lay ministers—for apostolic work serving God's people in our parishes, allowing future generations of Catholic families across the state to experience the blessings of parish life that Catholics have always relied upon. We would be honored if you would choose to share in the celebration and become a partner with us in this most important mission.

The Knights of Columbus Michigan State Council, in an encore performance, will serve as Event Sponsor for the evening. We are grateful for their ongoing service and commitment to the seminary.

The reception begins at 5:30 p.m. followed by the dinner program at 6:30 p.m., and the evening ends at 9:00 p.m.
